By booking Healesdale House you signify your acceptance of these terms and conditions of use. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “Us”, “Our” and “We” refers to Healesdale House. and “You”, “Your” 'Guest(s)' refers to you, the client, visitor, website user or person using our website, or other online booking system to book our accomodation.
50% deposit is required on booking to secure your stay dates. These dates will stay available to other guests until your deposit has been paid. Final payment (50%) is due 1 week before arrival.. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if your final payment has not been received before your rival date and you will forfeit the right of your deposit of 50%.
A $300 dollar security deposit will be required with your final payment, due 1 week before your arrival date and may be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to) any breakages, damage or losses incurred during your stay and cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning. Any claims exceeding the security deposit will be billed to the client and referred to a dept collector. For longer lengths of stays a security deposit ranging from 2 to 4 weeks based on the weekly rate will be required. If there are no breakages, loss or excessive cleaning the security deposit will be released in full 7-10 days after departure.
All payments are only accepted in AUS dollars. Payments can be accepted via Direct Deposit. Alteratively Healesdale House can be booked through third party websites (e.g airbnb) who offer credit card options. Third party websites may charge you extra fees. that we are not responsible for or for the use of your credit card and personal information.
Cancellation Terms & Charges
The following cancellation fees will apply.
If you cancel or modify a confirmed booking thirty (30) days prior to commencement of the stay, the deposit will be returned. If you cancel or modify your stay within fourteen (14) days prior to the commencement of the stay 50% (deposit) of the entire booking will be retained. If you cancel your original booking and rebook at less monetary value than the original booking the refund will be calculated on the basis of 50% of the difference.
Number of Guests
Healesdale House accommodation is strictly for two persons only. At no time should there be any other persons on or in the property of Healesdale House other than registered guests. The accommodation is not designed to accommodate children and as such we do not accept bookings for persons under 14 years of age. Failure to follow this rule could result in your stay being terminated and you will forfeit your rights to any refund.
Smoking & Candles
Smoking or the use of candles inside or outside on the property is strictly prohibited. If there is any evidence of smoking or the burning of candles on the property your booking may be terminated immediately, and you will be charged for a specialised clean to eliminate odours. and the cost of any damage as well as loss of earnings as a result.
Healesdale House does not allow pets in the accommodation or on the property surrounding the accommodation. If there is any evidence of pets inside or elsewhere on the property your booking may be terminated immediately and you will be charged for a specialised clean. You may also be charged a fine.
Healesdale House is not designed for cooking main meals. and does not accomodate the use of external cooking equipment inside or outside the property. If there is any evidence of external cooking equipment being used inside or outside on the property (e.g camping stoves) your booking may be terminated immediately and you may be charged for a specialised clean. You may also be charged a fine.
Healesdale House supplies basic breakfast items such as bread, cereals, yogurts, milk, orange juice, coffee and teas. These items may contain nuts, gluten and food preservatives. It is your responsibility to ensure you're safe to do so before handling or consuming any items we supply, or other food items that you may bring with you.
You acknowledge that we do not cover your personal belongings under our insurance policy and therefore take no responsibility for any loss or damage of the occupants personal property left on the property and agree that you will not make any claim against us for any damages or loss to your personal belongings regardless of how or where the loss or damage occurred.
We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at time of booking. We suggest that the policy should include, but not be limited to, the reimbursement of any monies paid in the event the travel is cancelled; loss or damage to personal luggage and loss of money and medical expenses.
You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses and disruptions caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto.
Electrical & Gas appliances
The accommodation has been fitted with reverse cycle AC, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, TV, lamps and gas log fire for the comfort and convenience of the guest. These appliances are checked, maintained and serviced regularly. A carbon monoxide alarm has also been installed for your safety but we always strongly recommend the gas log fire is switched off before retiring for the night. It’s is you (the guests) responsibility to use these appliances correctly, and inform the owners of any damage or fault that may occur during your stay.
Your accommodation will be returned to us in the condition presented on arrival. Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings must be reported to the owners immediately. Breakages or damages to the property and all communal or external areas that are caused by any guest and/or an unauthorised visitor will be charged and recouped in full from you Excess cleaning required on departure or replacement of items removed from the accommodation will be charged to you, or deducted from the security deposit. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms or properties. There will be a charge incurred if furniture is not returned to its original location.The owners must be informed of any problem or complaint as soon as possible as to rectify the situation as quickly and as efficiently as possible. You must allow access to the property for service consultants to undertake repairs during reasonable hours. We will notify you and confirm the day, date and time of the appointment. We will arrange access if you are not available at the designated time.
Breach of Terms & Conditions
You agree that, should you or your guests breach any of the terms and conditions:
1. You will pay to us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach. 2. We may evict you and your guest without notice.
Payment of deposit or full payment constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The terms and conditions of booking are subject to change without notice.
