Spoilt for Choice
The Yarra Valley is world famous for its award winning wines. It's home to Chandon, Coombe Farm Estate, Innocent Bystander, Four Pillars gin distillery, Matilda Bay Bar and Grill and not forgetting the Healesville Hotel where you can enjoy their fantastic menu day and night. We thoroughly recommend booking a table In the restaurant to the rear to experience food at its best.
Healesville is also home to the Healesville Sanctuary where you can get up close to the animals. From time to time the sanctuary also hosts wine festivals with live music which is always great fun. The festival is a good time to taste the Yarra Valley’s best wines all in one fantastic setting.

Favourite Five
To write about all the great places in the Yarra Valley would make for a very long list. To keep it simple here's five of our favourite places. But if you'd like to know more about the region please feel free to contact us and we'd be happy to share our Yarra Valley knowledge.
1. Four Pillars
(Voted best Gin producer in the world)
In a relatively short time Four Pillars have grown from strength to strength exporting their gin all over the world. Four Pillars is a must visit, as not visiting is like coming out to the Yarra Valley without seeing Chandon. The space inside is relatively small but it’s well organised to experience how they make their famous blends.. Everything is simply brilliant, even the gin bottles..

2. Chandon
Chandon is probably the most famous vineyard in the Yarra Valley creating sparkling wine to champaigne quality here in Australia since 1986, and from 1959 at Chandon Argentina.

3 Healesville Sanctuary
Healesville Sanctuary is a fun place to get up close to Australia’s wildlife. Feed the Kangaroos, see how the platypus play and walk amongst the koalas in the treetops. A must see is the ‘Spirits of the Sky’ bird show where you’ll see birds of prey up close as they often fly a few centimetres above your head. You’ll learn all about all kinds of Australian species and the importance they play in our great outdoors. We recommend checking show times on their website.

4. The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery
Very popular all year round with tourists and locals the Chocolaterie & Ice creamery is great to get your sweet tooth fix and gifts.
